For most of my adult life I worked in the music industry. As a Tour Manager, I looked after musicians touring worldwide. I travelled extensively and was fortunate enough to experience some incredible moments from a young age. However, over time, I developed unhealthy habits and made poor lifestyle choices that began to take a toll on my mental and physical health. After facing a series of personal challenges in my early 30’s, I realised my lifestyle was unsustainable, and I knew I needed to change. On June 5, 2022, I committed to holding myself accountable for my well-being.
The name PENHEX reflects this journey. "Pentagon" symbolises the number five, while "Hexagon" represents the number six, marking June 5th (5/6) as a significant milestone in my evolution toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
Since then, I have dedicated countless hours to helping clients recognise their potential and adopt healthier lifestyles through training. My goal is to foster positive changes that extend beyond fitness, empowering people to improve various aspects of their lives—whether in their relationships, careers, or overall well-being.
For me, training is not just about time spent in the gym; it embodies the accountability I strive to maintain in every area of my life.
- TED WAKEFIELD
Having been selected to represent England I needed personal development that would compliment my hockey training. Ted tailored a programme that pushed, progressed and developed me into the player I needed to be for the World Cup. Each session was considered and, if needed, adjusted for any niggles or so as not to overburden a muscle group. He is professional, a very clear communicator and I can’t thank Ted enough for each of his sessions and support.
